Nadia Nakai is my friend in my head. Yes, another one. In *here* we go and get our nails done together and she breaks down the seventh colour of the old design of her 10K weave over mussels and MCCs for me.
If you know me IRL, you know I’m 100% for women who rap, period. I don’t care if you keep your clothes on or if you Kim the game. I liked the Baddest remix, even thought I had issues with it being positioned as a hand out from a guy. But that’s a post for another time.
So I was here for it when Nadia put out her own Baddest remix. Don’t get me started on the extended fishing metaphor that people keep trying to act like was slight work but would geek out for if someone with a penis said the same thing.
Anyway, Nadia – or Dia as she allows me to call her in my head, hehehe – recently signed to Cassper Nyovest’s Family Tree Media. Money Back is the first song she’s dropped since then. I like it. It gives me a bit of Da L.E.S’ Bank Roll in the texture but she makes the increasingly popular flow her own.
What do you think of the song?
